Yesterday a USAID team, headed by Mission Director Jeff Bakken, visited Juba International Airport to witness the use of sniffer dogs, funded by USAID, to combat trafficking in illegal wildlife products. USAID invests in South Sudan’s wildlife conservation, land and natural resources management to counter illegal wildlife trafficking and safeguard the country’s natural heritage.
