2023 Trafficking in Persons Report

The Trafficking in Persons Report (TIP Report) is the U.S. government’s principal diplomatic and diagnostic tool to guide relations with foreign governments on human trafficking. It is the world’s most comprehensive resource of governmental anti-trafficking efforts and reflects the U.S. government’s commitment to global leadership on those key human rights, law enforcement, and national security issues.

This year’s report, the 23rd edition, includes narratives for 188 countries and territories, including the United States. The annual report utilizes a tier system to rank countries and evaluate each government’s actions to combat trafficking assessed against specific criteria outlined in the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000 (TVPA).  https://www.state.gov/reports/2023-trafficking-in-persons-report/
